After a corporate career in IT, Rita followed a lifelong passion for wine, travel, and beautifully curated experiences.

Her wine journey began in London in the 1990s, where she completed WSET Level 3, an advanced international wine qualification covering global wine regions, grape varieties, winemaking, structured tasting, and wine quality assessment. It gave her the foundation to understand not just what makes a wine enjoyable, but why it tastes the way it does.

Years later, her love of guiding took her in a very different direction: the African bush, where she completed her FGASA Level 1 safari guide qualification in 2008 — a respected field guiding credential covering wildlife, ecology, animal behaviour, tracking, conservation, guest safety, and the art of interpreting the natural world for travellers.

That combination — corporate precision, wine knowledge, and safari-style storytelling — now shapes the Sydney Curated experience. Rita creates private, relaxed, luxury wine and touring days designed for guests who want more than a standard itinerary. Think insider knowledge, beautiful places, generous hospitality, and a day that feels effortless from start to finish.
